Parks and Open Space Committee Open Meeting re "Cambria Courts," 10:30 am, Town Hall - Saturday, January 28, 2012
On Saturday, January 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Town Hall, the Town’s Parks and Open Space Committee (POSCO) will hold an open meeting to discuss ideas on how best to rehabilitate “Cambria Courts”– the town-owned space on Cambria Avenue just east of the swimming pool. Plan to come and share your ideas/comments; coffee, cider, and donuts will be served. A renovated Cambria Courts will need to serve the needs of all ages, so POSCO members are especially interested in getting input from children and teens themselves about what they would like to see happen with this park. A preliminary drawing, based on ideas generated from POSCO’s 2009 survey, will be displayed. But it is just one idea, intended to spark interest and show one possibility for use of the space. POSCO wants your thoughts and ideas. The meeting on January 28 will be critical to shaping plans for the area, so plan to attend, let your views be heard, and give us your ideas! Building for future generations is important to our little town, so please help the dedicated volunteers of the Committee as they seek to ensure an attractive, usable area for residents of all ages.
If you can’t make it, email your thoughts and ideas to
