Town Dinner, 6 pm, Town Hall - Saturday, February 4, 2012
The annual Garrett Park Town Dinner is Saturday, February 4, 2012. The theme of the 2012 Town Dinner is "Pets"-- pet dogs, pet cats, pet chickens, pet rabbits, pet projects and of course don't forget pet peeves! If Garrett Park has one thing, it has plenty of "pets" to go around. Please join us in the fun and share your favorite "pet" story.
Doors of the Town Hall (Kenilworth Avenue) will open at 6:00pm and we will sit down at 6:30pm. As always, this is a pot luck dinner. Along with your own serving and eating utensils, you are asked to bring one of the following: appetizer, salad and bread, main dish, or dessert (enough for 8 to 10 people). A fee of $5/per person will be collected at the door to cover the cost of decorations, non-alcoholic drinks, and paper goods. We encourage you to pay your Citizens Association annual dues at the same time ($10 for individuals or $20 per family). Alcoholic beverages will not be provided, however, please feel free to BYOB.
Space is limited, so reserve your seats by contacting Mario Grande at 301-946-5930 or by email (below) as soon as possible. Please be sure to state and spell your name, the number of people attending, and the dish you plan to bring. This is an adult only event.
