LeMar exhibit opens, Penn Place - Monday, February 22, 2010

Art at Penn Place

Beginning Monday, February 22, Robert LeMar, Garrett Park artist, will be featured at the Penn Place Gallery. Robert attended the Maryland College of Art and Design where he became excited about the work of Rothko, Rauschenberg, Johns, Indiana, and Thiebaud. Robert is inspired by light, color, and the three-dimensionality of objects. Robert wants his paintings to have simplicity and a bold presence. Robert’s oil paintings, along with work by Garrett Park artist Martha Seigel, will also be on display at the Clinical Center, National Institutes of Health, beginning January 15.
