The Garrett Park Seniors Committee formed in January 2009 to address issues and concerns of the many senior residents in town. Elizabeth Henley from the Town office facilitates the monthly meetings (the 3rd Thursday of every month at 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Town office at Penn Place). All residents are welcome to attend or to submit questions and concerns to any committee members.
40 residents attended the March 8, 2009 "All Community Gathering" at Town Hall in response to the questionnaire distributed in advance via Bugle (and available in the post office) to discuss health/safety and social issues, the primary concerns of those who returned their forms and/or attended the gathering.
