Neighbors Essential Action Response Committee

Neighbors Essential Action Response Committee (NEAR) identifies town residents who might be in need of assistance, especially during weather-related problems, establishes a list of volunteers who will available to offer assistance, co-ordinate volunteers and town staff to provide assistance, searches the County and State programs for aging to find resources that are available to assist town residents.
