Art at Penn Place

The Art at Penn Place Committee was appointed by Mayor Shawaker in April of 2005, and is responsible for running the Gallery.  This is a public exhibit space whose purpose is to provide a venue for local artists to display their work, and an enjoyable gallery experience for the residents of Garrett Park and others who visit Penn Place, the historic Town-owned building located at 4600 Waverly Avenue.

Preference is given in both selection and scheduling to residents of Garrett Park and then to those residing in the immediate area.  Preference is also given to artists who use Garrett Park and its environs as their subject matter;  however, all artists from the Metropolitan area are welcome to apply.
