Street Sweeping

Streets are swept periodically by the Town's contractor. Budget considerations permitting, the Town aims for sweepings after leaf removal is completed, and prior to the Fourth of July.  A sweeping is often necessary in the early spring to remove sand used on Town streets during the winter.  The Town office will give notice the week before a sweeping is scheduled. Residents are asked to make a special effort to get their cars off the street prior to a sweeping to allow as complete a cleaning of the gutters as possible.
