Street Sweeping

Streets are swept at least twice a year by the Town’s contractor. Sweepings typically take place after leaf removal is completed, and prior to the Fourth of July. A third sweeping is often necessary in the early spring to remove sand used on Town streets during the winter. The Town office will send out a notice the week before a sweeping is scheduled. Residents are asked to make a special effort to get their cars off the street prior to a sweeping to allow as complete a cleaning of the gutters as possible.
