Brainstorming about
Saturday, January 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Town Hall, the Town’s Parks and Open Space Committee (POSCO) will hold an open meeting to discuss ideas on how best to rehabilitate “Cambria Courts”– the town-owned space on Cambria Avenue just east of the swimming pool. A renovated Cambria Courts should serve the needs of all ages, so input from children and teens about what they would like to see happen with this park is especially welcome. Here is a preliminary drawing, based on ideas generated from POSCO’s 2009 survey – it is just one idea, we want your ideas, as well! If you can't make it, email your thought and ideas to POSCO Chair Ida Sullivan Imsullivan@aol.com,
with a copy to the Town office garrettpark2@comcast.net
The
meeting on January 28 will be critical to shaping plans for the
area,
so plan to attend, let your views be heard, and give us your
ideas! Building for future generations is important to our little
town, so
please help the dedicated volunteers of the Committee as
they seek to
ensure an attractive, usable area for residents of all ages.
